At Univrses we develop computer vision and machine learning technology for smart cities, and self-driving vehicles. Univrses is now looking for a Deep Learning Engineer to join the team in Stockholm!

Our product 3DAI™ revolutionizes urban and highway road management by providing timely, actionable insights about road conditions through AI powered live maps. As a result it empowers businesses, municipalities, and road transport authorities to make data-driven decisions, optimize their operations, and increase urban safety.

The team consists of talented, hard-working, and friendly people from all over the world with diverse backgrounds and expert knowledge in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, physics, math, software development and more. We develop cutting edge technology, particularly in the fields of computer vision and deep learning.

Your role
You will be part of the team responsible for the data curation, computer vision, and deep learning components of 3DAI™.

We are looking for a person who is knowledgeable in the state of the art in deep learning, and has a strong interest in applying their knowledge to real-world problems. They also recognize the importance of data quality and automation in building scalable, reliable systems, and are eager to contribute to the development of high-quality, user-friendly tools for these systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and test deep learning models for object detection, classification, and segmentation.
• Streamline the deployment and scaling of computer vision models in production environments.
• Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to track the performance of our system on both controlled test sets and in the wild.
• Develop learning based methods to ease data curation and annotation through automation.
• Work closely with other teams to develop end to end KPIs for performance monitoring and trouble shooting.
• Optimize and scale ML infrastructure to handle large volumes of image data efficiently.

Who you are

• Minimum of a Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Robotics, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of proven experience in developing computer vision or deep learning technologies.
• Proficient in programming, particularly Python, and experienced with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong theoretical foundation in deep learning and best practices.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with a keen focus on quality and scalability.
• Motivated to see your ideas brought to life in production.
• Flexible, eager to learn, and excited to take on diverse tech challenges.

Bonus points

• Knowledge of classical computer vision and projective geometry.
• Experience with data annotation and curation tools such as Labelbox, and Voxel 51.
• Experience with AWS and Serverless frameworks, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerization and developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jenkins.
